Man dead in industrial accident

A man has been killed in an industrial accident on the North Shore this evening.

Early indications are that the man who works for a company that deals with large sheets of glass, was working inside a container where glass was stored.

It appears some sheets of glass have crashed down on the man, causing fatal cuts.

The accident occurred at around 6.20 pm, and police and other services are still at the scene, investigating the matter.
