Andrea Hewitt gained the second place in the first leg of Triathlon World Championship Series in Sydney and she took the second podium in this season.


The leading athlete of Milani Cycles Factory raced for the first time riding on her new MILANI N109, so she won a new excellent international result for the company of Gallarate that produced frames designed and created entirely in Italy, handmade, with the same fine craftsmanship which characterized the firm’s origins, but also paying great attention to the continuous evolution of materials, from steel to aluminium alloy and carbon fibre.

The excellent and natty full carbon wrapped frame designed and produced in Italy exclusively by Milani, is obtained by the overlapping of multiple layers of carbonium which is highly modular and highly resistant, unidirectional and bidirectional, positioned to obtain the maximum structural resistance. Double section steering headset, tubes with a wider diameter and oriented ellipse for an essential frame. The features: highly effective stiffness, lightness and comfort.

Andrea led a race finished and she gave way to Barbara Riveros Diaz only the finally 100 metres when Riveros Diaz made her charge for the line, dropping both Hewitt and Moffatt. Hewitt managed to just beat Moffatt for second with a smart change of pace.

Andrea was however satisfy after the race like so Celeste Milani, owner and managing director of the Milani Cycles Factory, that watched during the live broadcast the new excellent international result for the company of Gallarate.

Andrea Hewitt is second in the Triathlon World Championship Series.
