Leading beauty brand, AVEENO® today hosted New Zealand’s first ever and largest outdoor pilates session in the tranquil surrounds of Western Springs Quarry, with a record 280 people taking part. The AVEENO® Inspires Pilates Day was held to celebrate the launch of its new Stress Relief range and AVEENO® hopes the event will encourage women to lead a balanced life for greater health and wellbeing.
The inspiring mind and body workout was conducted by expert Pilates instructors from Peak Pilates and was hosted by Dr Libby Weaver, one of Australasia’s leading experts in stress reduction through lifestyle changes.
“It’s no secret that when you are able to achieve a healthy life balance you will look and feel beautiful.
“The good health of your skin relies not only on choosing the right products to use on the outside, but how you treat it from the inside – good nutrition and exercise such as pilates to limit stress are just as important,” says Dr Weaver.
All money from ticket sales will be donated to Habitat for Humanity New Zealand, AVEENO’s® chosen charity, to help them with the inspiring work they do helping Kiwi families to live in a home of their own.
Rachel Faulkner, brand manager for AVEENO® hopes this will become an annual event held across New Zealand every year.
“AVEENO® Inspires is our global community initiative programme and Pilates Day is just the start of how we want to help make a difference while helping women discover their natural beauty,” she says.
Recommended by US dermatologists for over 60 years, AVEENO® products capture the efficacy of natural ingredients to deliver real skin care benefits.
