Police investigate suspected arson

A house in Whanganui has been gutted by fire in a suspected arson attack.

The fire occurred around 1am this morning (Friday, 23 April) in Awatea Street. The house was unoccupied at the time with new tenants due to move into the home today.

A scene examination has been completed and enquiries are ongoing.
