Picton crash - Name release

PICTON

The name of the Picton Youth who died in a single motor vehicle crash involving 6-youths at Koromiko, Picton on the night of Saturday the 24th April, has been released.

Alick Roy TAPP, was a 17-year old student of Queen Charlotte College and lived in the Picton area.

Mean while a 17-year old male passenger remains in a critical condition in the Wellington Hospital Intensive Care Unit.

While two other males aged 16yrs and 17yrs remain in stable conditions in the Wairau Hospital.

An 18yr-old male and a 16yr-old female have since been discharged after being treated for moderate to minor injuries.

The Police investigation into the crash is continuing.
