Tauranga Police seek information after car hits pedestrian in Welcome Bay

Local Police are seeking information from the public in relation to a pedestrian that was knocked down by a car at 9.20pm outside the Welcome Bay Community Hall on Friday 23 April 2010.
The female driver of the dark coloured saloon allegedly involved stopped to assist the pedestrian but then left prior to Police and Ambulance attendance without providing contact details.
Police are urging the driver involved or anyone who witnessed this event and can provide information leading to the identity of the car and driver to contact the Tauranga South Police.
