Masterton investigation - deceased named

The man who died following an incident yesterday in Lansdowne, Masterton, has been identified as Blair James Graves. Mr Graves was a 47 year old beneficiary from Masterton.

A man has appeared in Masterton District Court this afternoon charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody until next Thursday.

A post mortem examination will take place tomorrow and is expected to take several days to complete.
