'Dream team' of judges secured for 2010 TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards

The 2010 TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards call for entries has opened and the count down to the judging process has begun. The New Zealand Marketing Association (NZMA) and NZ Marketing magazine are delighted to announce that they have secured an enviable line-up of business and marketing leaders for the judging panel.

“The line-up of judges is exceptional, we have a few returning judges and quite a few new names, resulting in the ultimate ‘dream team’ of judges. With a focus on the science of marketing this year, the judging panel will be looking for innovation in marketing based on best practice with clear business outcomes, such as long and short term brand value and accountability for business growth,” says Sue McCarty, Chief Executive, NZMA.

The judging will take place in two rounds this year, with some round one judges continuing through to round two, ensuring consistency in the approach. Both rounds are being convened by Professor Roger Marshall of AUT University Business School. A full list of judges is below.

In addition to the new Export category, four new judges’ choice awards have been introduced this year; Most Authentic Brand, Sustainability, Innovation in Marketing and Transformational Marketing, ensuring more opportunities for marketers to demonstrate their excellence and celebrate their success.
The TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards are run as a joint venture between the New Zealand Marketing Association (NZMA) and NZ Marketing magazine, published by HB Media (soon to become Tangible Media).

The awards evening will be held on 26 August at the Langham Hotel, Auckland.
