Mt Roskill tavern robbed

The Richardson Tavern was robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning at about 10.00 am and Police want to hear from anyone who has information about who was using a stolen silver Audi hatchback registration EHW621 which was found abandoned shortly afterwards in nearby Netherton Street, New Windsor.

The vehicle had been stolen on the 21.05.2010 from Dickens Street, Grey Lynn.

The Richardson Tavern was robbed of cash after two heavily disguised males entered the premises and presented a firearm at the bar manager before obtaining cash from the safe.

The offenders left via the front of the premises and got into the stolen Audi which was parked outside.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity outside the Richardson Tavern prior to or immediately after the robbery and anyone who has information regarding the occupants of the stolen Audi vehicle.
