Entry forms are now available for this unique and exciting road cycling event which takes competitors on a fast, fun and scenic 100km journey from Hamilton to Pukekohe.

Open to anyone with a bike, the race offers a great mix of flat and rolling terrain to suit all levels of fitness and ability.

The race sets off from Te Rapa Race Course in Hamilton, travels 15 kms to Ngaruawahia before crossing the Waipa and Waikato rivers then along the picturesque and peaceful western banks of the mighty Waikato River to Rangariri. From here you ride through spectacular countryside passing Opuatia, Pukekawa, Tuakau and Buckland before a festive street finish in central Pukekohe.

A shuttle service for bikes and riders is available this year for 100k competitors and will operate from Pukekohe to the start in Hamilton. Bookings are essential and full details are available on the entry form or from the event website www.eventpromotions.co.nz.

New for this year is the addition of an exciting new 50k ride – The Pulse Puke’ 50k starts and finished in Pukekohe and takes riders on a scenic loop from Pukekohe out to Waiuku and return joining up with the 100k riders just before the finish in Pukekohe.

Both events offer riders three different categories to choose from - you can challenge on your own as a solo rider, double your power on a tandem or share the fun and effort as part of a MORE FM two person relay team.

It’s about an achievable and fun day out, and as an extra incentive there’s a great selection of spot prizes up for grabs, including a Sundance Spa Pool valued at $7000, two Bauer Road bikes, a Suzuki SJ50 Scooter, a Q-Kayak and much much more.

If this challenge is for you - dust off your bike, join the excitement and register early – entry forms are available now from your local bike shop, gym or by visiting the Event Promotions website on www.eventpromotions.co.nz
