“Not another over glorified advertising awards show” you may mutter. NO, NO, NO!

The Chip Shop Awards are most definitely not your typical over priced black tie event. Quite the opposite. The Chip Shop Awards are founded on “creativity without limits”, which basically means ideas don‘t have cowardly clients and miniscule budgets trying to shut them down.

Unrealistic? Maybe, but it‘s the perfect recipe for unbridled creativity and for that very reason The Chip Shop Awards have been rewarding some of the most interesting and refreshing advertising concepts you will find anywhere in the World.

And in the latest 2010 Awards, two kiwi ex-pats were lucky enough to pick up some of the spoils.

Ex-Kiwi team Andy Wyeth (Art Director) and Kat Stamm (Copywriter), now living and working in Berlin but formally from TBWA/WHYBIN, took home the gold chip for the best press ad with their Nike ‘Finish line’ concept. http://www.chipshopawards.com/categories/972/Finish_line.html
