Police Investigating Cinema Death in Wellington

Wellington Police are investigating the sudden death of a young man at Reading Cinemas last night.

The body of the 23 year-old was found by a Reading Courtenay staff member shortly before 8-30pm last night.

Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Miller says a scene examination is being carried out and a post-mortem examination will be done tomorrow morning.

DSS Miller says Police are still trying to locate the man’s next of kin but believe he is a Wellington resident.

The movie theatre where the man was found will remain closed until the scene examination has been completed.
