Robbery - Cashel St Christchurch

CHRISTCHURCH

At about 8:10 pm on Friday 09 July 2010, a man entered the Cashel Convenience Centre Diary located on the corner of Cashel Street and Olliviers Road, Christchurch. The male was in possession of a black hand gun.

The man mumbled at the staff member whilst pointing the hand gun at the staff member. The staff member immediately activated the security system and the man left the dairy, running down Olliviers Road towards Wellington Street.

The man is described as follows:

- Slim to medium build
- Fairly tall about 1.7m tall
- Dressed in black
- Wore a black scarf around his face and over his head.

Police would like to speak to anyone who has seen the man described above or to anyone who has any information in relation to this incident. If they have any information, they should contact the Christchurch Central CIB on 3637400 and speak to Detective Sergeant Leairne DOW or Constable Jaimie ORMSBY.
