Arrest - Kohukohu - far North

Armed police have located and arrested the man sought in connection with an incident in Kohukohu, where a police officer was struck by a car.

A property was surrounded shortly after 9.30pm last night, and the man was arrested without incident a short time later.

Enquiries into the incident, and what charges the man will face, are continuing.

The officer received cuts and bruises when struck by the vehicle, but is otherwise unharmed.
