A large slip (rock fall) has fallen onto State Highway One at Koromiko, in the gorge between Picton and Blenheim near Para Road.

Traffic is still slow-moving, with Northbound traffic being diverted through a lay-by area at the scene of the slip. The southbound lane is still open.

Motorists can expect some delays while roading contractors work to clear the road.
