Feilding post mortem examinations complete

FEILDING

Post mortem examinations following the deaths of two men and a woman at a house in Feilding have now been completed.

Husband and wife 65-year-old Desmond Vincent Winnie and 51-year-old, Deborah Honeyfield were found dead at a house in Lees Road, Feilding around 10.20am on Monday (23 August), along with Deborah's father 86-year-old Ian Ray Honeyfield.

All three lived at the Lees Road address.

Post mortem examinations have concluded and families have been advised that all three died from gunshot wounds. The scene examination is expected to be completed today and a full report will be provided to the Coroner in due course.

It will be for the Coroner to determine the sequence of events inside the house and therefore no further comment will be made by Police.
