Fairfax Media NZ outperforms the market in digital advertising spend

Fairfax Media has significantly outperformed the market in digital advertising spend, almost doubling the 38.1% achieved by the market quarter on quarter.
Fairfax Media NZ CEO Allen Williams said he was thrilled with Fairfax’s performance in the latest IAB / PWC online expenditure report, particularly when the total NZ online market had measured the second highest growth on record.
“Given the phenomenal growth of display advertising spend, we are leading the way when it comes to maximising opportunities for revenue growth.
“Our performance is just as noteworthy year on year, again significantly higher than the 25.8% achieved by the market.”
Group Sales and Marketing Manager Sandra King said the spectacular result was a reflection of the company’s continued innovation across its digital platforms, accompanied with brand solutions that deliver real value for advertising partners.
