NZ Cup and Show Week – It's Still All On!

Everything is back on track for this year’s New Zealand Cup and Show Week following the recent Canterbury earthquake.

Addington Raceway, Riccarton Park, Canterbury Agriculture Park and Christchurch Casino have all escaped major damage following the recent 7.1 quake.

Mayor Bob Parker says the event will be going ahead as planned and will be a welcome time of celebration and fun in the Garden City.

“Now more than ever Cantabrians need some fun with friends and family to lift their spirits. New Zealand Cup and Show Week will be a time for people to forget the troubles resulting from this disaster and get back to enjoying the sites, sounds and entertainment this City boasts.”

This year’s New Zealand Cup and Show Week runs from Saturday 6 to Saturday 13 November.
