10,000 Laps for Feilding Cancelled

Due to persistently bad weather, 10,000 Laps for Feilding has been cancelled.

The Sport Manawatu event was to be held at Feilding’s Johnston Park on Sunday September 19.

“It’s a shame we are unable to go through with it but with the field and the weather the way it is, it just wouldn’t be feasible,” says event organiser Sean O’Connor.

The day, organised by Sport Manawatu, was to give Feilding residents the opportunity to gather for support in a fun and active way, with the aim of achieving a combined 10,000 laps.

“It was great to see local businesses and volunteers getting involved, we won’t be writing off the possibility of doing something similar in the future,” says O’Connor.
