Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club (HPCC) is set to continue its reign as one of Auckland’s most
successful cricket clubs this season with HRV East Auckland coming on board as the club’s major
sponsor.

HRV has signed a two year deal which will see the club named the HRV Howick Pakuranga Cricket
Club. HRV, sponsors of the HRV Cup Twenty20 series, will also support local Twenty20 tournaments,
player uniforms and prize giving ceremonies as part of the sponsorship.

William Palmer, Managing Director of HRV East Auckland, is delighted to be associated with such a
well respected club as HPCC.

“We’re excited to be supporting our local cricketers,” says Palmer. “HPCC has had a strong focus on
developing junior cricket and has a really encouraging family atmosphere which strongly aligns with
HRV’s core values of home and family.”

HPCC Chairman Graham Dennis says the club is looking forward to the season ahead with its new
sponsor.

“HRV has done a lot to raise the profile of domestic cricket in New Zealand and we’re delighted to
have them on board as our club sponsor. We’re now looking ahead to what promises to be a great
summer of cricket with our first senior home game at the end of the month,” says Dennis.

HPCC is regarded as one of Auckland’s leading cricket clubs having previously won the National Club
of the Year and producing many of Auckland and New Zealand’s top players including current Black
Cap Kyle Mills.
