Wellington Police investigating the disappearance of lawyer and conservationist Robert Logan more than a month ago are urging anyone with any information to come forward.

The 51 year-old was reported missing to Police on Friday 27th August and Police located his white 1991 Nissan Sunny station wagon at the Owhiro Bay car park later that same day.

Senior Sergeant Simon Feltham says Police Search and Rescue (SAR), Police divers and Land SAR volunteers have spent hours thoroughly searching the South Coast area, in the days following Mr Logan's disappearance, but it has failed to turn up any clue as to where he could be.

"We have spoken to a number of people as part of our inquiries, but we urge anybody that has any useful information which may lead us to Mr Logan, to come forward as soon as possible."

Senior Sergeant Feltham says Mr Logan's family and friends have conducted their own searches and are also at a loss as to where he may be.

Anyone with any information should phone Police immediately on (04) 381 2000 or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
