Tickets for The National's second Auckland show sell fast!

Having sold out their first Auckland show in under 30 minutes, The National have announced a second show which is selling fast and only a few tickets remain. Plus the band have revealed they will release an expanded edition of their hugely successful fifth studio album High Violet on November 22nd.

High Violet: Expanded Edition will be made available as a double-CD package. As well as the original eleven-track album, the expanded edition will be packaged with a limited edition bonus disc of eight songs featuring an alternate version of High Violet opening track 'Terrible Love', two brand new songs 'Wake Up Your Saints' and 'You Were A Kindness', b-sides 'Walk Off' and 'Sin-Eaters' plus three live recordings.

The Brooklyn five-piece will also release a 7" single of 'Terrible Love' backed with 'You Were A Kindness' on November 22nd to coincide with the expanded High Violet.

Tonight, The National will also perform live at a rally in Madison in support of President Obama at the University of Wisconsin.
