Police release name of teenager found dead in Wainuiomata on Friday

Lower Hutt Police have released the name of the teenager, whose body was found near Black Creek in Wainuiomata on Friday morning.
The body was that of 16 year old Nikora Birch.
Detective Jared Rowe of Lower Hutt CIB says the cause of death is still uncertain although it is not suspicious and Police are not seeking anyone in relation to the death. The matter is to be referred to the Coroner.
"Police want to hear from anyone who may be able to assist with Mr Birch's movements on Thursday 30 September 2010."
