Michael Hill Jewellers robbed - Hutstmere

At about 16.30 hrs on Sunday 17th October, an offender has entered the Michael Hill Jewellers on Hurstmere Road, Takapuna.

He is believed to have been armed with a firearm, and has subsequently left the premises with a quantity of jewellery.

At this time, there were three staff members in the store.

There are no reports of any injury.

One person is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

No further comment will be made today.
