WELLINGTON CITY

This Halloween, Wellington’s most vibrant theatre company brings you Bloody Broadway!

Energy Theatre proudly presents a medley of musical theatre’s most terrifying songs performed by some of Wellington’s most thrilling young actors, singer and dancers.

By bringing together a selection of musical theatre’s most well-known songs from shows such as Sweeney Todd, Jekyll & Hyde, Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors, Les Miserables and Beauty and the Beast, Bloody Broadway will blow audiences away with a horrifically entertaining night at the theatre.

With direction by one of Energy Theatre’s founders, Sam Benton, audiences should come prepared to scream, laugh and go wild for this all-singing, all-dancing team of zombies, demons and ghouls.

“It’s almost as scary as being on the Newtown streets at night, but four times as enjoyable,” Sam says. “Slightly more blood, though.”

Bloody Broadway opens at the Newtown Community Centre (BYO and licensed venue) on 28th October and runs until 30th October.
