Grove Avocado Oil is turning up the heat in New Zealand kitchens this summer with a spicy new product.
Grove Avocado Oil infused with Chilli will add an extra bite to your favourite dishes and offers professional chefs the opportunity to create some exciting new flavour combinations.
When used as a base, Grove Avocado Oil infused with Chilli will enhance the spiciness of your dish or dressing. The exceptionally high smoke point also makes Grove Avocado Oil fantastic to cook with.
Grove’s Executive Director Brian Richardson says consumers love using infused avocado oils to add variety to their cooking but market research showed they wanted more options.
“This new product imparts quite a different flavour from any other infused oils available and now gives our customers the widest possible choice – as well as fresh inspiration in the kitchen.”
Grove’s extensive range of oils are becoming increasingly popular because they have the highest smoke point of any extra virgin oil and are a healthy option for roasting, stir frying, pan frying and barbeque cooking.
Grove Avocado Oil is also higher in healthy monounsaturated fats (proven to lower harmful blood cholesterol levels) than most other culinary oils, and is a natural source of bio-available vitamins A, E and D.
Grove Avocado Oil is celebrating 10 years in business this year – a significant achievement as the company has fought hard to establish and grow its premium range of products.
Producing oil from avocados suitable for cooking was first introduced by Grove Avocado Oil in 2000. It was the first product of its kind to be sold on supermarket shelves, and is now exported to Australia, Malaysia, UK, Hong Kong, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Malaysia, and Mexico.
Grove’s range of cold-pressed, extra virgin avocado oils also includes Lime, Garlic and Horopito (pepper) infused flavours, as well as premium, organic and aerosol spray products.
Grove Avocado Oil infused with Chilli has an RRP ranging from $10.50 to $11.50 and is available in Countdown, Woolworths and Foodtown stores from 1st November.
