Fatal crash - Bay Of Plenty

Oropi Road near the SH29 intersection has been closed as police and emergency services deal with a fatal crash involving a light truck and a motorcycle.

Two men; the motorcycle rider and the driver of the truck were killed in the crash which occurred at 9.20am.

Serious crash personnel are investigating the cause of the crash and will be making a media release in due course.

The scene has been cleared and the road should be reopening within the next 15 minutes.
