Dunedin (17 September 2007) - Work will be carried out early this week to re-contour sections of the dune tops west and east of Moana Rua Road.

This will involve removal of clay capping and follows earlier re-contouring in July for health and safety reasons, and because the clay cap was contributing to instability of the dunes.

The area continues to be monitored and further work to remove clay will be carried out if required.
