WELLINGTON

Wellington Police have released CCTV images of Matthew Hall in the hope that someone may have seen him in the hours before his brutal murder.

The 35 year old was found dead in his bed at home in Broderick Road, Johnsonville in the early evening of Tuesday 15 February 2011.

Detective Senior Sergeant Donna Howard, acting officer in charge of Operation Broderick says Police are today releasing CCTV images of Mr Hall at Woolworths Johnsonville, where he purchased some grocery items around 11:15pm on Monday 14 February 2011.

"We hope that these images may jog someone's memory and we want to hear from anyone who may have seen Mr Hall at Woolworths late on Monday evening. We want to ascertain if Mr Hall was alone at the time or in the company of others."

Donna Howard says this information is vital to helping Police put the pieces of the jigsaw together in the lead up to Matthew Hall's violent death.

Police are still keen to hear from anyone who saw a person or people entering or leaving 118 Broderick Road, Johnsonville, between midday Monday until Tuesday evening around 6pm, when Police were called to the address.

Anyone with any information should phone Police on the free phone number 0508 BRODERICK.
