Burglary Arrest

Mount Maunganui police have been investigating a serious of burglaries that took place between 21st - 24 February 2011 in and around the Mount CBD.

The offender had forced entry to a number of commercial properties including forcing entry through the skylight via roof access.

Today a 30 year old male from Papamoa has been arrested and charged with eight burglaries, these charges have been laid indictably and his bail has been opposed.

The offender will be appearing in Tauranga district court on the 26th February 2011.

A search warrant was executed at an address in Papamoa and some of the outstanding property was recovered.
