Victim of Rotorua house fire named

Rotorua Police are now able to formally name the woman who died in a fatal fire in Clayton Rd in the early hours of Monday 4 April.

She was Deena BORRELL, a 32 year old from Rotorua.

Police say Ms Borrell had moved into the property a few days prior to the fire.

An investigation has determined that the cause of the fire is not suspicious, and the case has been referred to the Coroner.
