Reports rugby player granted diversion incorrect

Media reports a Hamilton based contracted rugby player has been granted diversion in relation to assault charges following on from an incident in the City on 21 January are incorrect.

The 20-year-old man will be appearing in the Hamilton District Court on 11 May on two charges of assault.
