Re helicopter crash on 6/4/11 - Lake Coleridge

On Wednesday the 6th of April 2011 Police attended a helicopter crash in the Mathias River valley west of Lake Coleridge. As a result of the crash the Pilot Adrian James MAYBERRY aged 59 of Christchurch was killed and the passenger seriously injured.

The passenger is in a stable but serious condition in the Christchurch Hospital.

Police are investigating the accident on behalf of the Coroner and CAA are also carrying out their own investigation.
