Road Closure - Broadlands Road, Taupo District

Police advise that Broadlands Road, Broadlands Forrest, Taupö is blocked.

Weather conditions have caused a number of trees to come down on the road which has in turn brought down power lines and strewn other debris across the road.

Council have advised that the road may not reopen until the weekend.

The road is blocked between White and River Roads.

Diversions are in place however motorists are advised to travel between Taupö and Rotorua on State Highway 5
