Fatal Road Crash - State Highway one Putaruru

Police are investigating the circumstance leading up to a fatal road Crash south of Putaruru last night.

Just prior to 10pm, police were told of a two car collision 4 kilometres south of Putaruru.

The scene is State Highway one. The road is closed and diversions are signposted.

A female was removed from the vehicle and flown to waikato hospital. Unfortunately she has since died as a result of injuries sustained.

Serious crash investigative officers are still at the scene.
