Ziera is putting its best foot forward in support of Christchurch launching a limited edition ‘Posture’ shoe to benefit victims of the city’s recent earthquake.

Robin Boyce, Design Executive for Ziera says the company wanted to help the best way it knows how.

“We have a strong history in New Zealand and a loyal customer base. We wanted to help our fellow Cantabrians and we thought what better way than ‘wearing our heart on our feet’,” she says.

“So, $20.00 from each pair of these special shoes sold goes straight to the New Zealand Red Cross for Christchurch Earthquake relief effort.”

The classic Chanel-inspired ballet flat features a unique embroidery of a New Zealand map with a heart circling Christchurch.

“It’s our bid to remind everyone to keep putting their best foot forward despite difficult times post-quake,” Robin says.

The ballet flat will be available in Ziera stores from Saturday May 28 until Friday June 10 - and is being produced in a limited run.

The original Posture style is one of Ziera’s most popular shoes and is blissfully comfortable with layers of cushioning underfoot – a real surprise in such a flat style. Posture retails at $189.99 but the limited edition “Love Christchurch Posture2” will retail at only $149.99.

The Ziera range is available in all Ziera (formerly Kumfs) stores nationally. All shoes purchased from Ziera company stores carry a full 30 day (love me or bring me back) guarantee – even if worn, Ziera shoes can be exchanged or refunded if they’re not quite right.
