Delhi Commonwealth Games gold and silver medallist, Joelle King has won the women’s singles title at the Waikato Squash Open where she defeated Bay Of Plenty’s Amanda Landers-Murphy in straight games. King is home for a short time before returning to the Wispa international squash circuit.
The men’s title was also won in straight games. As mixed doubles silver medallist in Delhi, Martin Knight(Wellington) beat Auckland’s Mike Corren 11-3 11-3 11-4.
