Fly Buys announce 2degrees Mobile as new Partner

2degrees Mobile has joined New Zealand’s largest and most successful loyalty programme, Fly Buys, so its customers can now collect points simply by talking, Loyalty New Zealand announced today.

Loyalty New Zealand Chief Executive Lance Walker says 2degrees is a dynamic and exciting brand, which is relevant to a large number of Fly Buys Members.

“2degrees is an impressive addition to our loyalty programme because it’s another way for Members to collect points on their everyday spending, this time by paying their monthly mobile phone bills.

“In the cut-throat mobile market, Fly Buys will offer 2degrees a way to stand out even further from other companies, while enabling them to reward existing customers and attract new ones. Increasingly, companies are turning to loyalty programmes to both increase their understanding of customers and reward them for being loyal.”

2degrees is the only telecommunications partner in the Fly Buys programme.

Chief Marketing Officer for 2degrees, Larrie Moore, says joining Fly Buys puts 2degrees in front of 2.5 million New Zealanders, including 115,000 businesses.

“This partnership gives us invaluable exposure in terms of attracting new customers as well as rewarding our current ones. The beauty of it being that customers don’t have to do anything out of the ordinary to collect points and bring those Fly Buys rewards a lot closer to reality.”

Fly Buys Members will collect 100 Bonus Points if they become a new 2degrees Pay Monthly customer before July 4, irrespective of contract term, as well as one Fly Buys Point for every whole $25 paid on a Pay Monthly plan.

In addition, Fly Buys members who are on Prepay can collect one Fly Buys point for every $25 they spend on top ups in a 2degrees store.

2degrees and Loyalty NZ will soon be launching the opportunity for 2degrees Prepay customers to earn even more points by topping up their accounts.

Members also earn points when they purchase phones and accessories in 2degrees stores and in the 2degrees online shop at www.2degreesmobile.co.nz

Fly Buys, established in 1996, now has 57 Partner retailers, including some of New Zealand’s most well known brands like Shell, State, BNZ, New World, Noel Leeming, and Mitre 10.
