Bankers storm Christchurch airport to welcome home Crusaders

Hundreds of BNZers, decked out in red and black, are set to storm the Christchurch airport this afternoon in a pitch invasion to celebrate the Crusaders’ stellar season.
Head of Southern Region, BNZ Retail, Chris Gourley says, “We’re so proud of the boys who put up a heroic fight against the Reds, especially after the year they’ve had. This is a small way to show them what their year meant to us, and how much we appreciate all they’ve accomplished this season.”
BNZ Christchurch staff will be decked out in red and black and waiting at the airport to welcome back their home team.
The Crusaders are scheduled to arrive at the airport at 4:50pm.
