New board member at Variety - The Children's Charity

Variety – The Children’s Charity has welcomed David Boyes to its board as a co-opted member.

David currently works at Ernst & Young, heading up the Technology Advisory team. Previously he held the position of General Manager of Customer & Technology Services at Westpac.

“David’s experience in IT and his extensive industry contacts will be very valuable to our organisation and we are pleased that David is now part of the Variety family,” says Lorraine Taylor, CEO, Variety – The Children’s Charity. “He is an enthusiastic supporter and we welcome his input in creating brighter futures for Kiwi kids.”

David says: “This is a fantastic opportunity to be able to be part of a great charity that supports the children of New Zealand and helps each and every Kiwi kid to reach their full potential.”

David will become a voting member of the Variety board at the next annual general meeting in November. In addition to joining the Variety board, David is also member of the NZICT board and has previously held board positions for the The Warehouse Financial Services Limited and the Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand.

He lives in Remuera with Michelle his wife and daughters Chloe and Phoebe.
