Crash between Te Puna and Bethlehem, Bay of Plenty

A truck has crashed into a power pole on State Highway Two between Te Puna and Bethlehem, Bay of Plenty.

A crane is required to stabilise the power pole and the bridge where the crash occurred is closed to traffic.

There is a diversion in place which is suitable for light vehicles only.

The road is closed to heavy vehicles and trucks.

The road will be closed for several hours and the public are advised to avoid this route.
