Learning To Greet Our Visitors

Want to learn to get your tongue around a few Russian words before our international rugby visitors arrive? Free lessons are being held in the next few weeks for anyone who wants to be able to meet and greet our Russian visitors in their own language.

The lessons are all free and will last about an hour each. No need to book – just turn up.

Business and retail staff: Marlborough Room at Heartland Hotel, 5.30 pm on Wednesday 31 August.

Cellar door staff: Wine Marlborough hosts a lesson at the Marlborough Wine Research Centre lecture theatre, Budge Street, 9.00 am on Thursday 1 September.

Picton class: Le Café at 7.30 pm on Thursday 1 September. Everyone welcome.

Blenheim class: Scotch Bar at 7.00 pm Friday 2 September. Aged 18+ only.

Children: Blenheim Library, upstairs in the children’s section, 10.30 am Saturday 3 September.

Clubs of Marlborough Bridge Club Room 10.30 am Saturday 3 September, everyone welcome.
