Fatal crash

About 5.50 am this morning police and other emergency services were called to a vehicle crash in Ngutumanga Rd in Waihou, Matamata-Piako District.

Only one car was involved. The car had rolled and one person was thrown from the car. 3 other occupants were injured and one died. The person who died was a man in his 20s.

The Serious Crash Unit attended and examined the scene. The road has been re-opened.
