Varied World Cup activities scheduled

A VARIETY of rugby-themed activities are to be held in Feilding on Sunday to highlight the 2011 Rugby World Cup. The “Oranges at Half Time” national exhibition celebrating Kiwi rugby culture opens in Manchester Square at 10am; former All Black and Manawatu representative Sam Strahan will launch the “Boots ‘n’ All” Festival at 1pm and Manawatu District Mayor, Ian McKelvie, will take part in a rugby volunteer recognition ceremony. A business breakfast is also planned for Manchester Square at 7am on Monday, with Strahan as guest speaker.
