New Native Planting And Restoration Guide For North Marlborough Now Available

A native planting and restoration guide is now available for the North Marlborough part of the region matching a similar guide produced for South Marlborough. This guide provides practical advice for planting and restoration of natural areas in the North Marlborough area, including extensive native planting lists and also information on enhancing and managing existing native vegetation, and on plant and animal pest control.

The guide is part of the Council’s efforts to promote the protection of significant natural areas and biodiversity in Marlborough.

The book is available free of charge from the Marlborough District Council and is also available on the Council’s website http://www.marlborough.govt.nz/Environment/Land/Publications-and-Reports/North-Marlborough-Planting-and-Restoration-Guide.aspx.
