Early detection has lead to swift action

Recently monitoring efforts have paid off with early detection of a problem, which has arisen with the bore pump at the Pahiatua Water Supply.
The Tararua District Council will be lifting the bore out to ascertain the actual fault and have this remedied.
In the interim, the Council would like to advise that Pahiatua water supply is now being drawn from the river system; effective immediately. We will update the progress on the Council website, please refer “Latest News” by Friday of this week.
