Search and Rescue Operation Tauranga

Tauranga Police have suspended the search for a 55 year old fisherman reported missing in the Tauranga Harbour early yesterday evening.

Just after 7.00am this morning a member of the public located a body near the Matapihi rail bridge. Enquiries are continuing to identify the body and the cause of death.
