Touring Russian Farewell Photographs

The touring Russian Rugby team were farewelled on Monday with a gift of a digital photographic record of their time in Marlborough handed to each player.

Team Captain Vladislav Korshunov receives his CD from Mayor Alistair Sowman and Council Reserves & Amenities Manager Rosie Bartlett who has been the Council’s liaison manager for the visit.

It was also a chance for Mr Sowman to thank some of the local people who have volunteered to work as rugby tour hosts and cheerleaders for our region, like wine industry consultant Belinda Jackson.
