Silver Ferns team remains status quo

Netball New Zealand advised today Silver Fern midcourter Laura Langman will continue to be part of the Silver Ferns team for the New World Netball World Championships despite it being confirmed today that she has a stress fracture in her left foot.

The Silver Ferns medical team in consultation with Orthopaedic advice will now put together an injury management plan for Langman.

Silver Ferns Coach Ruth Aitken said Laura had already shown great improvement since coming into the Silver Ferns camp.

“Our medical team will be working closely with Laura monitoring her recovery and we have every confidence that she will be fit for the World Championships next month”, she said.
