Milk Tanker Overturned

A milk tanker has overturned at the intersection of State Highway 5 and Maraeroa Road, Hamurana, Rotorua.

There is also a significant diesel spill affecting the road.

Police are in attendance, diversions and traffic control are being implemented however delays are inevitable and drivers are advised to avoid the area.

It is expected that the roads will be blocked for some time while the milk is cleared from the scene.

A media release will be made when the road is cleared.
